Dear Sir: (Dear Dr., Dear Professor,….)
In June, 2011, I received my B.S. degree in microbiology from Tabriz university, Tabriz, Iran. I was the second-best student in my class with an average of 18.34.
I have always enjoyed working in a medical field, so in school I excelled (did very well) in my medical-related classes and during my
college years, I became particularly interested in bacteria and viruses that infect humans. That’s why I applied for and
completed a two-year master’s course (M.S.) with Tehran University, where I learned how to formulate (come up with, or find) new ideas about preventing virus infection and how to communicate (tell, or write) those ideas effectively (in an effective way) to my supervisor and co-workers.
I am a very focused person and I tend to be (am often) product-oriented (to always produce good results). At Tehran University, I made sure that whatever projects I worked on, I saw to completion (finish what I start).
I would like to continue my training in the field of medicine at a well-known (famous) medical school abroad (in a foreign country) such as Stanford/ California……. .
If you believe that I can study at Stanford Medical school, I would appreciate it (understand your work) if you could send me the appropriate (right) application forms.
Very truly yours,
